Malaysia beat Pakistan 2-0 in Olympic football qualifier

 The first goal was scored in the fourth minute by Wan Zaharul Nizam Zakaria.

SHAH ALAM: Malaysia defeated Pakistan 2-0 their Olympics Football tournament 2012 preliminary round at the Shah Alam stadium here tonight.

The first goal was scored in the fourth minute by Wan Zaharul Nizam Zakaria.

With four minutes added on and a Pakistan player shown the red card for kicking the Malaysian goalkeeper, mid-fielder Irfan Fazail provided the second goal in the 48th minute.
Malaysia had opportunities to score more goals in the second half but were denied by impressive saves by the Pakistan goalkeeper.
